The Coir Block Substrate is an ideal bedding choice for tortoises, especially species that require a humid environment. Its natural composition helps retain moisture, creating a comfortable and suitable habitat for your tortoise. Made from natural coconut husk, this substrate is 100% organic, eco-friendly, and sustainably sourced. It is biodegradable, non-toxic, and safe for your tortoise.
To prepare the substrate, place the block in a tray or bucket of water and let it soak for about an hour or until fully expanded.
Each block expands to approximately 9 liters, providing ample bedding for your tortoise’s enclosure.
