Our Outdoor Insulated Tortoise Houses are designed to provide a secure, sheltered environment with improved insulation against changing outdoor temperatures. The insulated walls help reduce temperature fluctuations, offering a more stable environment throughout the year.
These houses are particularly suitable for heat-sensitive species such as leopard tortoises, Indian star tortoises, and sulcata tortoises, where maintaining a warmer and more controlled environment is especially important.
Constructed from durable, weather-resistant materials, each house features a hinged roof for easy cleaning, health checks, and access when required. They are designed to be placed within a secure outdoor enclosure, providing a comfortable retreat where your tortoise can shelter and feel secure.

Small (cm: 50L x 36W x 37H, Entrance 25W x 15H)
Suitable for smaller tortoises or juveniles.
Medium (cm: 60L x 47W x 42H, Entrance 26W x 16H)
Ideal for adult small to medium-sized tortoises (such as adult Hermann, Horsfield, Greek) and juvenile leopard, indian star and sulcatas
Large (cm: 77L x 56W x 44H, Entrance 40W x 30H)
Provides additional space and comfort for a group of medium-sized adult tortoises; or one adult leopard tortoise
Extra Large (cm: 90L x 71W x 60H, Entrance 40W x 30H)
The largest insulated house, offering generous room for larger species.
Additional Heating
An additional heat source can be added if required. However, it is the responsibility of the tortoise owner to thoroughly test any heating equipment before introducing a tortoise to the enclosure. Appropriate temperature monitoring and alert systems should always be used to ensure temperatures remain within a safe range for the species being kept.
